Personnel Director

Doreen is the Personnel Director for SIM Australia. As a young Christian, Doreen served in Latin America, Europe and Australasia for six years before attending Bible College in Canada. She returned to Australia to study for a Bachelor of Education and then moved into hospitality after marrying and starting a family. Since then, Doreen has continued to serve on short term mission trips and has led the mission team at her church for many years. Doreen has also completed her counselling certification, specialising in grief and loss. Doreen’s passion is counselling and training, believing strongly in the importance of “connection” between those on the field and those at home.
Doreen is available as a speaker for mission events, conferences and women’s ministries.
